Verrico approaches audits with a basic philosophy: we are in the business of evaluating and gathering objective evidence of conformance. It is not our primary objective to find fault. We feel it is important for our audit process to add value to your organization. We are thorough and systematic in our approach.
Verrico auditors combine a process approach with functional considerations. Structure of the audit process is a key activity in the planning phase of the audit. When planning an audit we work with the Client to identify functional responsibilities within the organization so that we can structure our interview process. We determine what sections of the standard can be addressed by an employee and work to combine these areas into one interview session. This both minimizes business interruption and helps us assess the interrelationships of processes and functions. Our audit report process takes this approach to a higher level. We provide all auditor notes and evidence collected during the audit to the Client. By doing so, Clients have the opportunity to revise manuals to reference applicable procedures and policies and update procedures as necessary. Employees have a better understanding of how their job functions relate to management system and a better understanding of expectations. This experience proves critical in the preparation of certification audits, but even more importantly, it engages the entire company in the continual improvement process.
